(More customer reviews)when i bought this hammock, it was for my long awaited vacation to florida that i took with a friend. we both love the beach and we thought hammocks would be great to bring for the trip. i bought the travel hammock and received a great hammock and the ropes were included! my friend bought some other hammock (paid more and didn't even get ropes to hang it, yuk!)
i used it just about everyday i was there, this thing is great. i wish the vacation wasn't over cuz now i have to wait for warmer weather now to relax in my hammmock again.

(More customer reviews)this hammock is amazing. it's so comfortable and durable. i've set it up both inside and out, and i LOVE it.
it doesn't look like it should hold up, but it does. also, the extra fabric makes a great covering if it's a little chilly. given the choice between a thermarest and a sleeping bag and an eno, i'd sleep in the eno. all my friends who have one love it as well.
you don't have to buy the straps that eno also sells if you or someone you know knows how to make some.
all in all, it's a wonderful product, great for the outdoor lover.

(More customer reviews)i love this thing for the ability it gives me to hang just about anywhere. it's extremely packable and the colors are flashy without being ostentatious. i use mine with the admittedly overprices pro straps (had a gift card to use), but they sure have turned out to be so very convenient and useful. i'd probably even get them again just to avoid tying a few knots when i'm lazy. the hammock is strong and has held two non-obese sized adults with no issue. in fact, i want to go take a nap in it right now. be warned that although it is solid fabric (i.e. not one of those woven hammocks) it will not do a lot toward keeping you warm if a small wind picks up. it's great to nestle in with a sleeping back or blanket and pillow on colder evenings though. a+++ would buy again

The ENO singlenest hammock is a great way to kick back off the river and relax even more so. Cant wait to be able to use this great product more and more!!! The light weight small packdown will be most excellent for backpacking and back country fly fishing this summer! Or when time isnt plentiful enough for either just hanging out in the back yard or off the deck drinkin a brew will be more than enough to end a hard day at the office. Someone get the doctor cause this Hammock is SICK!!

These tree straps are extremely easy to use, setup is literally measured almost in seconds rather then minutes. You simply wrap it around a tree, put one end through a loop, then hang your hammock! One cool feature is the 6 different loops you can hang your hammock from. This makes it very easy to hang your hammock just right.
I love these tree straps because of how easy they are to setup/tear down. Now my hammock can easily go with me on camping trips! If there is a down-side it might be the weight limit (400 lbs). So this might not be the right solution if you're planning on having the whole family hang out on your hammock. Otherwise this product is absolutely perfect.

(More customer reviews)The word single has no place in this products title. It's easily a two person hammock. More than big enough sleep in without fear of falling out.
The big downside is that it isn't a mesh hammock. It's pretty warm to lay in when its hot out. Of course, not being mesh means this hammock is a lot more durable. It's a terrible trade off to make.
I'm glad I bought it.

(More customer reviews)The hammock seems to be durable and is very lightweight. It took me under a minute to assemble it. However, it only is guaranteed to hold up to 150 lbs. Also, the ropes that are included are relatively short, limiting the distance between which the hammock can be set up. However, it does pack up very well and seems to be great for camping.

Eagles Nest Outfitters SingleNest Hammock Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this hammock for all my future outdoor trips after doing extensive research on every company who makes/ sells hammocks. Some people might prefer to buy a system that is "all-inclusive" (i.e. - with bug net and rainfly attached). I'm not one of those people. I prefer to have control of what I pack depending on the journey. I was hoping to try it out in the wilderness first, but as luck would have it the family reunion that I'm currently on took priority. I think everyone in the family thought I was crazy for bringing it up to Minneapolis since we'd be at a condo (instead of outdoors and closer to trees). However, the patio area has two perfectly spaced columns that have worked out well! Every evening I'll set it up in a matter of minutes, lay in and just watch the stars till I fall asleep.
The hammock itself is a perfect size with more than enough room to spare (I'm 5'10" and around a buck 90). Others have complained that this hammock is too restraining. It's a travel hammock...not a king size bed or one of those hammocks that come with a metal frame. The material, cord, biners and overall construction of the hammock are top notch! I looked at the slap straps that ENO sells and instead of spending an extra $20 for the straps, I just purchased two lengths of climbers webbing at 1 in x 9 feet each for a total cost of $3.45. I would advice this for others who are buying this hammock or any hammock in lieu of pre-made straps. A simple bowline or waterknot with some backup ties does the trick and you can set the connection loop where you want instead of where the manufacturer has sewn it in. That is another issue I had with the pre-made slap straps. Eventually, the stitching for the sewn loops will fray due to exposure to the elements and use. I'd rather spend my money on other gear.
The third party I purchased the hammock from (Goliath) rocks! I got it a day earlier than expected. I would definitely buy from them again!

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest Hammock Review

(More customer reviews)UPDATE: I ended up purchase the Grand Trunk ultralight single hammocks for my two sons, so was able to actually compare the ENO with the Grand Trunk brands.
The ENO is definitely a thicker material - parachute nylon - while the Grand Trunk hammock are made a very thin nylon material. But for a hot/humid climate like Texas, the Grand Trunk hammocks outperformed the ENO hammock this weekend (May) while camping. The GT hammocks allowed the breeze to circulate, and actually keeps you quite a bit cooler. I think the ENO hammock will be better in the cooler times of the year, but for the summer - and for this price - the GT is a winner.
Also, if you are planning to purchase the "Slap Straps Pro" as I previously recommended - be wary that the tag states that they are for a weight max. of 200 lbs and does not tell whether this is per strap, or for the two straps combined (although the ENO hammock is rated for 400 lbs). If I had noticed this before I purchased, I would have contacted the manufacturer for clarification.
I debated between this and the Grand Trunk Double Hammock that was about $40 compared to ENO at $58. The ENO hammock has very good quality caribiners, unlike a lot of hammocks which have S-hooks (although I am sure you could purchase your own caribiners or higher quality S-hooks). Also, the ENO hammock is supposed to be able to hold up to 400 lbs, compared to most other hammocks which state 300 lbs. The hammock appears very durable and strong, and we have actually had it in the rain, and it dries very quickly.
The only Cons I saw compared to the GT hammock is that the ENO hammocks only carry a two year warranty, compared to GT's 10 year warranty. However, the ENO hammock quality appears superior. Also, note that the double hammock is very wide compared to a single hammock, so it takes a little bit of getting used to all the room you have :) (the extra material can actually "cover" you like a light blanket).
If you camp a lot and can spring for the Eagle's Nest Outfitters "slap straps pro" which are around $20-$25 - you won't regret it. They make putting this hammock up super-easy and super-fast. They are thin, lightweight, but super strong. They are also easier on tree-bark compared to plain rope. On that note, this hammock DOES NOT HAVE ROPE ATTACHED. So make sure you have some on hand, or buy the "slap straps".

Grand Trunk Ultralight Hammock Review

(More customer reviews)The material quality is about what you would expect for the price. There are no carabiners included and it instead comes with hooks. That being said it is more comfortable than far more expensive ones. Ditch the hooks, use carabiners. These hammocks do not pinch you inward making it very comfortable.
A tip to you campers, use just one line between points (utilize a prusik knot for tension) and let the hammock drape from that single rope. You can now use that same line for your rain fly or your mosquito netting. You save on weight and you don't have to cut your rope.
I uploaded video to a popular website (wink) of the hammock and how to use the single line method with a mosquito net! I tried posting the links but Amazon deleted them. Search under "Grand Trunk Ultra Light Hammock" and you should be able to find 3 of them. If it came with carabiners I would have given 5 stars.
