(More customer reviews)My 7 year old son just loves tents like this - we set them up in the great room and it's like his fort. We've gone through several over the last year or two, looking for something with some play value to him.
This one went up as easy as any of the others, the poles each break down into 8 smaller pieces held together by the bungie like cord in the middle. Easy to snap together, and this one's fabric channel to slide them through is actually easier than most of the ones we've tried, does not get hung up as easily as the others.
Llittle cap on top can be used or not, leaving what ends up being the only window-like opening. That's one of the downsides to it comparatively to me, no window. The other one to me was that the zipper is up about 6 or 7 inches off the floor, leaving a little lip across the entrance. Makes it tougher to get in and out during play, but if you were really using this as an outdoor play tent, would help keep junk out to. He likes it which was the whole point.
Colors are great, vibrant. We set it up the day of the NFC championship, and the Packers won, so we look at it as a good luck sign.
For an indoor play tent, it's a great size, since it's not too high, so it doesn't dominate a room.
Worth the money.
