(More customer reviews)I was very excited for this tent to come. Upon recieving it it was not too tough to put together but takes quite a few extra hands, about 45 minutes in total. Also keep in mind that you need something to put these giant poles and canvas into after taking them out of the box. I put this up for my daughters first communion party. It uses flimsy plastic rings to hold the canvas to the poles which are not strong enough for a tent this size. Part way through the party it started to rain. It took no more than a few minutes of heavy rain before the little plastic rings began breaking away from the poles. Shortly after water began billowing up in the canvas and I spent the rest of the party running in circles pushing the water off of the canvas and onto the ground. By the end of the rain parts of the canvas were torn. I called the distributor and after a lot of waiting to hear back from a manager I finally got one on the phone and they said that the manufacturer is in China and there is nothing they could do to replace the canvas. They did offer to refund my purchase if I shipped the tent back, but shipping to and from cost as much as the tent.
I used the tent twice more (after I repaired with duct tape and replaced the rings and velcro with zip ties), once on a sunny day with no incident and the other time it stormed. Becasue the first time I set it up the canvas had stretched from the rain, the last time I used it despite the zip ties holding on the canvas it still billowed and billowed fast, within moments my cousin and I nearly had the whole tent colapse on us while trying to save it. The tent was destroyed, competley unsalvagable.
This tent is gorgeous when set up, but it won't hold up and for the price you might as well rent a tent, not worry about setting it up and storing it. Becasue if you only get a couple uses out of it your not saving any money by buying it, and you're only gaining a headache.
