(More customer reviews)I love the idea for this product, but it just does not work. I have used these when I was traveling in Asia while getting a massage. I think that they must use a professional steam generation system there however.
This comes with a small pot,which has a lid you attach a plastic hose and feed the steam into the small tent. The pot is electric and is so underpowered that it is barely able to get hot after 30 minutes of attempting to boil water. After a full hour it finally begins to boil, but just does not have enough power to fill this tent with steam. If you are considering this item, skip it unless you plan to spend another $700 for a professional steam system and at that point you can just about purchase a small 1 person stand alone system anyway.
I would like to ammend my review here after having some experience with this system. Just stay away from it. It is a totaly useless attempt to put together a portable system. The steam pot is too small to generate anything at all, the chair broke within a few days of using it. My wife is the only person that used it and she does not even weigh 100 pounds so I no it was not excessive pounds that did the chair in. I had to purchase a new system from another vender that cost an extra hundred dollars but at least it works and it is worth the money to find a system that works. Avoid this at all costs.
